April Update Spring is here, and our little girl just continues to blossom.  Mary Joyce is growing by leaps and bounds and learning new things every day.  She has learned how to stack her blocks, and when she is successful, she giggles and applauds for herself.  She has also started to show interest in dolls and stuffed animals, which is very sweet. Unfortunately, Mary Joyce missed going to church on her first Resurrection Sunday at home.  Mama got sick with a sinus infection, so she and I stayed home while Daddy went to church.  We also missed going up to Grandmama and Granddaddy’s house on Easter afternoon.  Hopefully that won’t happen again next year.  She did get to wear her pretty Easter dress to church the following Sunday, though, and it was much warmer that day than it was on Easter Sunday. We also were able to get away for some vacation time during the last week of April.  We had a lot of fun visiting family and friends in the Madison and Atlanta area.  Mary Joyce loved playing outside at her Grandmama and Granddaddy’s house, and enjoyed playing the piano with her Grandmama.  We also were able to visit with Mr. Rich, Mrs. Heidi, Leah, and Baby Rebekah, and to go to Leah’s third birthday party.  Happy Birthday, Leah!  We even got to see Aidyn, one of the other girls from our travel group, and her family while we were away from home.  Aidyn’s family is preparing for a big move to Tennessee, and they will be missed.  I’m glad we have email.
