Our Nursery

Jesus said, "Whoever welcomes a little child like this, in My name, welcomes Me."--Matthew 18:5

This room, just like Emily's was a labor of love. Daddy built our home from the ground up, and his loving touch is evident in every detail of every room. He has spent the past year building the addition that houses Emily and Hannah's rooms and a playroom meant for little girls! Mommy usually adds her special touch to rooms in our home.

On the quilt rack is a wonderful gift from Aunt Bobbie, Kim and Lisa, Rebecca, David, Kyle and Little Joe - to us it is your 100 Good Wishes quilt because it was given in love and faith.

The mobile on the crib is a special gift from Emily to Hannah. Initially, we had left the crib without a mobile because Hannah will be a little older, but Emily felt that would be unfair, so she chose a mobile especially for her sister.

We are so anxious to fill this room with the life of Hannah! It has been empty way too long. Some days we catch Emily staring out Hannah's window; she says she is wondering what Hannah is doing right then.

Last time sleeping in the rocker didn't cut it - this time we will at least lay down and pretend to sleep on those tough nights!
