Today Jade had her medical examination. She doesn't have an ear infection. She passed all the tests and was declared "healthy". She weights 18.6 lbs (with clothing on), and she is 28" long. She was dressed in the same outfit Megan wore 11 years ago for her medical exam - even the little red socks are the same.

After the medical examination, everyone from the group met in William's room to fill out the rest of our adoption paperwork. It was stressful as we went through piles of paperwork, making sure we had all the correct documents and that all were filled out correctly. We paid the last of our adoption fees today, so the rest is for shopping! (There isn't much left, by the way). I might just need a credit card cash advance before I make it home.

Jade took a nice nap. It is difficult to get her on a schedule. I can't imagine what she must think. She goes from hotel to hotel, crib to crib, bus to bus, plane to plane. We live out of a bag. Chaos rules, and a refreshing pool is always available. Life will be so much better at home in some ways; in other ways she might feel a bit cheated.

We ordered Papa John's Pizza again for lunch. It is hot out so we decided to stay in the air conditioning and eat before going to the pool.
