July 22, 2008 Gotcha Day! Okay, go ahead down and look at Katie. What a day! It was like a dream. When they gave her to me, she reached for my face and laid her head on my chest. She is doing great. She cried a little, but after we got back to our room, she was fine. She is laughing, smiling, and just everything we could have ask for. Terry says she is already daddy's little girl. We got the babies at 4pm today. We were told to go to the hotel lobby at 4, but at 3:30 we went down, and when we got there, they were bringing them in the front entrance of the hotel. We knew Katie as soon as we saw her. She is the most beautiful baby ever! God is good! She took her first bath and did great--played in the water and had a good time. I can't wait to get home with her, she is doing much better than we thought she would do. Okay, I will post again tomorrow. I've got a baby to feed and get to bed.
