Hello From China
Today we went local sightseeing--very hot outside. I took some pictures for everyone at home to see, and there are a few below to see now. Then we came back to hotel and cooled off. Katie has got a runny nose, so please pray for her.
This evening we went to supper with Bruce and LiPing. All I can say is I eat nothing. I could hardly stomach the smell. There were a few times I thought I was going to get sick. I am drinking lots of water, but my food intake is not good at all.
The local people here in Nanchang are very nice. They talk to Katie a lot and try to hold her, but she wants no part of that. She reaches for daddy a lot to hold her--me too, but a lot of daddy. Terry just smiles and says, "What a daddy's girl you are!" The smile on his face is priceless.
Saturday morning is the orphanage visit. We all were planning on going, but at supper Bruce and LiPing said the director of Katie's orphanage said the babies couldn't come because it is a 2 and half hour bus ride to get to Yingtan from Nanchang, and it is just too hot, so I will make this journey alone. I think it is important to take pictures for Katie for when she is older and can understand. Better get ready to go.
Love and miss everyone,
Lisa, Terry, & Katie
