July 28, 2008 Hello Everyone Today we leave Nanchang. I am sad to leave Katie's province, but glad to go to Guangzhou. Katie is still doing well; I hope the flight goes well today. Katie is taking her morning nap right now. Last night we went to Pizza Hut with a friend from the hotel--her name is Nemo--and Cindy, another mom from our group. Boy, did Pizza Hut taste good. We had a cheese lovers, and bread sticks, onion rings, and Pepsi. It was good, better than our Pizza Hut at home. It will be late when we get into Guangzhou tonight, most likely around eight - nine pm our time. I haven't done much shopping-- shopping is one thing I am not big on, but I am going to get a few things for Katie while in Guangzhou. We packed way too much and will have to get rid of some stuff in Guangzhou before we come home. This morning I was in the hotel hallway and a little Chinese boy about five years old came down the hallway with his mother and saw me, and pointed to my hair and screamed. It scared him and me both to death. After his mom, I guess, told him it was okay, he stopped screaming. Then I came back into my room and gave him a pack of gum, and he right away became my friend. I am posting a picture of my new friend in Nanchang. Okay better get off here. Next post Guangzhou, and I can't wait.
