July 30, 2008 Today we went shopping and got Katie some pearls, very nice. This afternoon we will go get lunch with Cindy, a lady here in our group. Cindy is traveling alone, so we have spent a lot of time with her, and she has become a good friend. Okay, to Katie...she is still doing really good. She is a daddy's girl for sure. Katie is sitting up, and daddy has taught her to roll over front to back. Bath time is so funny. She is like a duck in the water--she really likes bath time. The weather is still hot, but it doesn't feel as bad as Nanchang. Terry says it is as hot, but we are just getting used to it. I got Katie a few outfits for pictures down the road and a few special birthday gifts, but as you all know, I don't shop. Lucky Terry, or he would be in trouble here. The hotel here is so very nice.
