March was good for Savannah health-wise. She had been about 2 months without a runny nose, and then when April came, she caught another cold. She is cranky at times, but it doesn't slow her down much. She is getting familiar with just about all family members and some of our friends and will go to just about any one as long as we are near by.
April 3rd we had our 6th month review. Our Social Worker came to the house for about 1 hour and asked various questions. We had to give her at least 4 photos of Savannah with family and friends, and she will write an update and send to our agency, and they will translate and send to China. We will have to have 1 more review at 12 months.
Savannah attended her first birthday party when her cousin Maverick turned 1. She got to eat cake and ice cream. She loves ice cream, as you can tell in the picture below. On the Saturday before Easter we went to Papa and Mama Decker's and had an Easter egg hunt. Then on Sunday after church we went to Mama and Papa VanMatre's and looked for eggs there. Savannah found a few egg,s but could care less what was in them. She enjoyed playing with the eggs and running free in the yard.
We are very blessed to have Savannah. It is as she has always been part of our family and we love her very much.
