We left the house for Yeager Airport Sept. 12th at 3:30am, our flight left at 6:21am bound for Chicago's O'Hare. After a 5 hour layover and lunch at McDonald's, we were off to Beijing. WOW! What a long and somewhat rough ride. I guess 75mph head winds will do that to a plane. We made it to the Beijing airport where we met our guide Helen and 17 other CCAI families. We made it to the hotel after an hour drive, and we are worn out. Not much more to post today. Tomorrow we leave at 9:00am to meet Helen for a full day of touring. Only had a chance to take a few pictures at the airport, one waiting during the layover and one of the plane we flew in from Chicago to Beijing. We miss everyone and are thankful for your prayers.
