Terms and Conditions The following are the terms and conditions for the services rendered by Adoption Voyages. 1. It is the responsibility of the client to properly email all material, including (but not limited to) journal entries, pictures, and videos to Adoption Voyages. In the event that the client does not do so, whether intentionally or not, no refunds shall be given, as the bulk of the work will have already been done. 2. By joining the Adoption Voyages family, the client absolves Adoption Voyages and its owners of any liability resulting from or in regard to the content that the client provides. Further, the client understands that Adoption Voyages reserves the right to edit posts, pictures and videos for content as needed. 3. The material that the client provides Adoption Voyages may be used in any way by the client at any time. However, the client agrees not to make copies of their CD, unless they remove the graphics, or unless they purchase their own copy of the graphics from the creator of the graphics. If requested, Adoption Voyages will gladly provide contact information for the graphics creator(s). 4. The client understands that the quality of the web journals, CDs, and Photo Books are directly related to the quality of the material that the client provides to Adoption Voyages. The client understands that the Photo Books are sold "as is," and Adoption Voyages cannot refund any money from the Photo Books. However, Adoption Voyages will make every effort to correct any issues with the Photo Books, including having a new book printed. The client must notify Adoption Voyages within three (3) days of receiving the book in order to have a reprinting. 5. The Client agrees not to hold Adoption Voyages liable for lost or damaged material while the material is in the possession of the United States Postal Service. 6. The client (excluding those that have a password protected journal) also agrees to give Adoption Voyages permission to use any pictures of the client or their children elsewhere on the website as desired. The client may withdraw permission at any time, but must notify Adoption Voyages via email explicitly stating this. 7. In the event that the client receives a defective CD, Adoption Voyages will gladly replace the CD free of charge, including shipping. However, no refunds will be given. 8. Refunds will ordinarily not be granted. If granted, they will only be given in cases of extraordinary circumstances, which will be determined on a case-by-case basis. Any refunds given will reflect, among other things, the amount of work that has been done on the web journal in question and service charges from Paypal that have been accrued.
